This series titled 'What is an Art Teacher?' brings into conversation art teachers from across the UK as they dissect our understanding of traditional learning spaces and discuss what it takes to be an art teacher – with topics ranging from navigating the societal de-valuation of art as a 'soft subject', and the camaraderie and impact of having a supportive teacher-body, to proposals into how designing spaces of learning collaboratively can lead to new, generative ways of teaching and learning.
